Cookies & privacy choices
Updated October 21, 2026
You can request a chimney inspection or free estimate without allowing optional advertising measurement. These choices apply to chimney.tovrino.com. They do not change a preference saved on another TOVRINO website.
Your choice
Use “Cookie & privacy choices” in the footer to allow available measurement or keep it off. It stays off until you allow it. Declining or closing an unanswered notice keeps it off. A dated choice is valid for up to 180 days; you can change or clear it sooner. Supported Global Privacy Control and Do Not Track signals keep it off.
If optional measurement is not configured, the controls say so and no advertising SDK is loaded. Where configured and allowed, the OpenAI Pixel may use ad-click and browser signals and automatically hash supported contact details from forms for matching. Hashing is not anonymity. Read the OpenAI measurement disclosure and OpenAI’s Privacy Policy.
Turning measurement off stops future events through this integration and clears pending measurement work. It does not erase records already received by a provider, delete a request or recall an email. It is separate from the operational handling of your callback request.
Cookie and browser-storage inventory
- Request confirmation —
__Host-tc_receipt - A signed, host-only cookie confirms access to your request-received page. It contains an opaque request identifier and expiry, not form contact values. It is marked Secure, HttpOnly and SameSite=Lax, with Path=/ and no Domain attribute.
- Lifetime: normally ten minutes. Browser expiry does not delete the saved request.
- Optional-motion setting —
tovrino-chimney-motion-paused - Local storage remembers whether you reduced optional animation.
- Lifetime: until you change it or clear this site’s storage.
- Measurement choice —
tc_openai_measurement_v1andtc_openai_measurement_at_v1 - Local storage holds the allow/off choice and its timestamp.
- Lifetime: valid for up to 180 days unless changed or cleared sooner. Expired choices do not authorize measurement.
- Pending accepted event —
tc_openai_pending_lead_v1 - Session storage briefly links a consented accepted request with its verified confirmation using an opaque identifier and timestamp.
- Lifetime: valid for ten minutes; cleared on processing, withdrawal or an expired check. No form contact values are stored here.
- Duplicate prevention —
tc_openai_leads_v1 - Session storage holds up to 100 opaque event identifiers and timestamps.
- Lifetime: entries are valid for ten minutes. Inactive entries can remain until another check or the tab closes; they are not measurement permission.
- OpenAI ad-click and browser references —
__opprefand__obref - After permission, the SDK may write first-party ad-click and randomly generated browser-reference cookies for advertising measurement.
- Requested lifetimes: up to 30 days for
__opprefand up to 365 days for__obref, subject to browser controls. - OpenAI SDK preference —
oaiq_consentand__oaiq_consent - Once loaded, the SDK may keep an allow/off value in local storage and a first-party cookie. This cannot start our integration without a valid TOVRINO CHIMNEY opt-in.
- The SDK preference cookie requests 30 days. Its local-storage value has no built-in expiry in the SDK reviewed on October 21, 2026; our separate 180-day permission check still applies.
- OpenAI SDK session marker —
oaiq_cs:<pixel ID> - The SDK may use a per-Pixel session marker for visit and consent diagnostics. It does not contain form contact values.
- Lifetime: the browser tab’s session, subject to browser controls.
Hosting and security services may also process technical request information for site delivery and abuse prevention. Browser settings may block or clear storage sooner. Restricting confirmation storage can prevent access to a confirmation page without deleting an accepted request.
Request records and help
Request database, owner-notification email and customer-management records have their own retention and handling. Browser-cookie lifetimes do not define those records’ retention. Read the Privacy Policy.
